April 12 was a beautiful day. The weather cooperated perfectly, and 32 participants converged on Coloma for a morning of fun, exercise and camaraderie.
34 checkpoints were scattered (mostly) throughout the historic State Park. We had a wide range of participants, from world class racers to first timers. Everyone had a wonderful experience. h control had a one point value. There was a hefty penalty of one point for every minute past the 90 minute limit.
Three competitors cleared the course! (found all 34 checkpoints), Roy Malone, Rex Winterbottom and Kyle Poland. Great work gentlemen!
